Kahurangi Estate Pinot Noir Rose 2016



Bright, sparkling pale raspberry juice

Taste & Other Notes

Bursting with  bright fresh berry fruit flavours with a hint of creamy malo to add texture and lashings of crisp cranberry juice-like acidity this dry style rose is packed with deliciousness, is fantastic value for money and perfect late winter drinking.


The winery says:

Vineyard – Single vineyard in Upper Moutere.

Soil – Moutere clay.

Vintage Conditions – A hot Summer provided the base for an early vintage. Rain just prior slowed ripening somewhat but good fruit flavours developed in hte picked fruit.

Harvest Date –  Mid April 2016

Fermentation / Maturation 100% Stainless Steel with initial skin contact releasing the light blush of Pinot Noir.

Alcohol – %

Cellar – A wine best enjoyed fresh but will sustain cellaring for up to 2 years.

Serving Suggestions – A great summer wine or aperitif, serve well chilled.
